Hi Mike, I have a couple questions for you. How are the metal Persian rugs for everyday wear and tear? Should they be for eyes only? Or can you actually walk on them and use them in a place that gets everyday use? I have the same questions for the pure silk rugs. I’m looking for rugs for my bedroom, which should not see much canine use and then my TV room as well as a couple other small spaces. I’m also thinking about a rug to perhaps hang on my north bedroom wall. With an all brick house, the outside walls, especially ones on the north side get a little cold during the winter. For my bedroom, I’ve thought about the 10 foot round 5042. But most of the Persian rug would be under the bed. So I’m thinking about multiple other smaller rugs instead. So the thought about a couple of your small silk round rugs like 2047 and 2048. Or going a little larger with your twin Tabriz sets 3066 and 3106. I’ve heard the silk rugs are wonderful under foot. Not that I’d be spending much time standing on them barefoot. But it also doesn’t make a lot of sense to waste a good rug under my bed. So you have a bunch of rugs that could do duty in the bedroom, almost too many choices.
For my TV room, it will get everyday use also. But if I decide to continue having a dog around the house, it will get dog hair deposits on a daily basis. Can the metal type rugs handle vacuuming or cleaning on a more than regular basis? Not that I would use a silk rug in this room, but the same questions would apply. You have three gold metal rugs that might look fantastic in my TV room. But if they need gentle care or use, they might not be a wise choice. If on the other hand they are fine, then it might make more sense to look at the smaller 1152 and 1144 Persian rugs. If so I’d like to know how either of those two rugs compares to the larger 1153 rug. I don’t know how you judge these metal rugs to one another, but 1152 looks somewhat like 1153. Not having seen one of these in the flesh, I have no idea how they feel to walk on or how they look in person. How do you care for these rugs? Are there any special use issues with them? Do you have to be careful how they are cleaned? How about storage or folding or rolling or?????? I’m all ears and could use and education with these rugs. I hope you do not mind educating me with these metal and silk rugs.
Size: 9'8" by 6'5"
Color: Main color is navy blue with some beige, white, burgundy/brown and
other colors.
Material (Pile):Wool with silk highlights

Notes: Very nice and the design of this Persian rug is also very rare. The
thing I like the most is the solid quality, which is more than obvious just by
looking at it. If you are looking for a nice quality rug and don't want to spend
too much, this one is definetely recommendable.
